Teatime in Yangon // Чаёк в Янгоне

Wandering around the city, I decided to take a break from the effects of the heavy rain and wandered into a traditional Burmese cafe. This is where people hang out, chat and enjoy life. Until recently, this is also where most of the intelligence gathering for the government informants took place.

Гуляя по городу, я решил отдохнуть от последствий сильного дождя и зашел в традиционное кафе. Тут сидит народ, пьёт чай и наслаждается жизнью. До недавнего времени тут также вели работу местные агенты тайной полиции.

Spiced tea with condensed milk, normal tea, and various pastries with origins in different places.
Думаю что тут есть какое-то британское влияние

I'm sure the British had something to do with this teahouse tradition.

Waiters are kids like in many places around the country - everyone has to earn their food above a certain age.

Официантами работают дети как и во многих местах в стране.

The waters have started to recede, so it's time to go back exploring...
Вода начала спадать, пора идти дальше...
